Is it possible to bring basic calculations in Confluence without making use of add on applications / plug ins?

 I want to create my own global template (in excel format) that needs basic sum, multiplication , division calculations. 

Is this possible without purchasing any plug in / applications?

User macros are not available in Confluence Cloud, so it is not possible to create anything in this way. As previously mentioned, there are apps that can make table calculations, here is one more: Table Filter and Charts. It has these macros for calculation:

• Table Filter with total column and total row.
• Pivot Table that aggregates data and makes calculations.
• Table Transformer macro that can be used for complex formulas.

Basically, this can be achieved through using User Macro inserting some sort of Javascripts. 

If you are looking for add-on then you can try Advanced Tables for Confluence  or  CelesteCS Math for Confluence
