I want to clone a space, Space1, into a new space, Space1-clone to then change the users that can access it and after that, every space will evolve independly.
Is is possible to make that? I've tried with export/import but I am not confident with it...
Thank you!
Hello @Joan Andreu Juan Torrens
Spaces cannot be duplicated, however, you can duplicate the pages to the new space that you create. You would need to manually add the users to the space.
Hi @Joan Andreu Juan Torrens ,
Exporting and then exporting is a quick solution, and you can also choose to copy and then move the page.
If you want to keep the original page tree and just create a copy in another space, use the Duplicate option. If you want to relocate the tree, use Move.

Hi @Ollie Guan
Exporting and importing the same space is not supported, since the space with space key will already exist.

as others have pointed out there is no native option to clone spaces, only page trees.
Depending if you want to consider a third party solution you might check out the app we've built for that use case 'Space Template for Confluence'.
You can clone spaces, specify some stuff regarding what to clone like space permission and if you want you can safe that clone configuration into reuseable templates.
If this is meant as a one time thing, you can use the 30 day app trial without feature limitation, So you can easily use it for your use case and remove after. Reviews welcome of course ;-)
Best, Wolfgang

Thanks to both of you.
Fortunately the space wasn't very big, so it's been easy to duplicate pages. For bigger spaces, it would be very useful to have a "duplicate" space feature.
