Is it possible to provision security groups based upon a user's attributes held in a 3rd party app?

I want to empower a space administrator with the option of creating groups for a particular space based upon a user's attributes stored in a 3rd party application. eg job title, role

The third party application features an API capable of capturing the user's attributes and common to both applications is that the Active Directory username is used to sign-in.

As an example the organization is a dealership and several roles include include parts technician, service technician, and automotive technician. Now the space administrator should be able to create groups and leverage the job title as a condition for gaining access to a space eg

If user in the 3rd party app has a job title containing service, grant user access to "Service" space within Confluence.

No, Atlassian applications do not use arbitrary attributes for access, it's done on groups and individuals.
