I have tried to get link to a heading within a page to share a specific part of an existing page, -- however the hover and get link symbol doesn't work as suggested in the new documentation
Any idea how to get this working? Or does this only work on newly build pages?

Yes, this functionality will only work on pages that are created using the new editor. Does this work properly on pages that were created with the new editor?
