Is there a way to send email alerts from confluence pages?

Looking to schedule emails from confluence on a regular occurrence to specific people from confluence?

@Brant Schroeder I too wonder if there is a possibility of sending emails from Confluence. To be specific, we have a list of tasks that need to be performed on specific dates. We would like to get reminders a week prior to the due date. Is it possible to send reminders based on text from a specific column?

@Sara Creenan (M&T)  Can you be a little more specific as to what these emails will include?   by default there is not an email scheduler in Confluence.  There are some apps that allow you to schedule reminders for items like tasks.  You can take a look at them in the marketplace - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?hosting=cloud&product=confluence&query=email
