Jira macro in confluence

I am having issues querying for JIRA tickets from confluence using the jira macro.

 

When I search key=ABCD-1 -> it is able to find it.

When I search key~"ABCD-*" -> it is unable to find anything.

 

What am I missing here?

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

The "like" operator (~) does not work for issue keys.  They are supposed to be precise and unique, so it would not be of any use.

Try "Project = ABCD" instead, that will find all issues with a key starting ABCD-
