If I create a new page and use confiforms smart fields such as smart dropdown, smart multi-row, etc, I have to wait for one day or a few days for the confluence server to index the page. Otherwise, it will not be shown on the "Page where the ConfiForms Form is defined" field when I type in the page name. As a result, the page, form or field names will not be populated.
Is there any way that I can force the newly created page to still show on this field without waiting? For example use page ID instead of page title to identify it? Or @self or this to tell the page to find the smart field within the same page?
Thanks,
Hi @Pat L_
ConfiForms depends on Confluence search index to lookup for the page (well, it uses the Confluence API that relies on that)
On healthy instances it should come up very quickly, within minutes, not days
So, I really suggest to look into the Confluence index healthy issues and try to fix that

Hi @Pat L_
Is this macro for a Confluence Server or Confluence Cloud version?
I see that you mention server, but I can't see any other subscriptions for you than cloud, but at the same time, there are no confiforms app showing for me in your Cloud site here.
In any case, the reason I'm asking you this, is that if it is on the Cloud version, although we highly recommend getting in touch with the third-party vendors directly when having issues with their macros and apps, we can try help you in this case by doing a reindexing for your Cloud site and see if it helps.
For that, we may need to create a support ticket on your behalf to trigger it, as we need data access to your site, but depending on the case, the third party vendor could have insights as well.
If you would like to contact them in the meantime, you can check their marketplace page in the support tab
In case they reply back and this is something they believe is an issue with something in Confluence, we can continue that on a support ticket as well and engage them to investigate further on their findings.

Jessica

Hi @Jessica ,
Thank you for the response. It is the server version 8.5.4.
How long do we usually expect a page to show up after we creating it? (I am guessing it relates to how long it takes to be indexed.) I will follow up with our internal tooling team.
Thanks,
Patrick

Thanks for confirming, @Pat L_
I'm not familiar with the Confluence Server, so I would only be able to help with the Confluence Cloud version.
However, as Alex from confiforms mentioned above, it might be interesting to check the Confluence index.
I think this is a bit different from how it is on the Cloud version, as in Cloud only we from support can run it for you, but I found this article for Server:
I hope this helps in your content search and helps in any other macros.
Regards,
Jessica
