Page title of custom template not prefilled after creation

Hi all,

I've created a custom template in Confluence Cloud. When I create a new page and select the created custom template from the template picker, the page title remains empty. I've added a title in the custom template!

Is this normal behaviour? How can I change this?

Also, I've looked for a workaround. Now I added the 'create from template' macro to the main page. When I click the 'create from template' button it will create a new child page with the page title prefilled. But isn't it strange? Why is this not working via the standard custom template page creation?

I hope you guys have a solution. Thanks in advance.
