Pages overview: intro text without stripping HTML code?

Hi there all,

I just started to try the awesome features of Confluence. So far it looks very promising. However, there is one thing that I'm looking for and can't find how to get there.

When clicking on "Pages" at the left sidebar, Confluence shows me an overview of all my pages. Each page with its title and a short description. However, the descriptions are being displayed in plain text without HTML code. Confluence seams to strip all HTML code and converts, for instance, flag icons into ISO country codes.

Example: here is a screenshot of a page with flag icons and HTML code as expected:

Page-View.jpg

Now, when clicking on Pages (left sidebar), Confluence converts the description into this:

Page-List.jpg

Confluence strips all HTML code and converts the flag icons into country ISO codes instead of showing the flags. I tried the macro called "Cards & Panels" from Caelor, but it seams that this macro is intended to be used exclusively within a page, and I'm actually looking how to show all my pages just like Confluence does when clicking on "Pages", but without stripping the HTML code. Or at least to show the first (let's say, for example, 100) characters of the page description.

So, my question would be: is there a way to keep the flag icons in the "overview" description as they are being shown in the page (first screenshot) or to keep the HTML code?

Sorry, if this questions has already been answered. I couldn't find any similar issue.

Any hint is much appreciated! Cheers.
