Pages with the same name in one space cause error

Example:

  1. API
    1. v1
      1. Overview    // error
      2. ...
    2. v2
      1. Overview    // error
      2. ...

Why errors? Why I can not have nested pages with the same name in one space? That's stupid.

Someone said that it's a bug? Missing basic feature. Pages are linked by not their unique IDs, but by their names.
If I had been a first-year student at the institute, I would have probably done so if I had been tasked with such a task. But you are already more experienced, right?

No, it's by design, so it's not a bug.
