Postpone text in other page

Macors Romain December 23, 2024

Hello everybody

I would like to postpone text from one page to other page

I have some information in one page that team can't see because they don't have access to this page and i can't give them. So i would like to "automatically" postpone a part of text from my page

is it possible ?

I try with "page properties" but i have no result

Thank you

Hi @Macors Romain ,

The restrictions will be inherited: if you have page A that your colleagues can't see and you use the Excerpt macro to grab and show a part of your content on the available page B, they still won't see the data.

So, you may place the available data on the page B and show it via the Excerpt macro on the restricted page A just for your convenience to have everything in one place.

The Page Properties/Page Properties Report macros are used to collect multiple one-row tables into a big combined report.

The restrictions are also inherited:

  • You have Page A with Table A wrapped into the Page Properties macro, Page B with Table B wrapped into the Page Properties macro, page C where you collect these two tables into one report via the Page Properties Report macro
  • If your user can see both Page A and Page B, they will see two data rows coming from the two tables on the Page C
  • If your user can't see, for example, Page A, they will see only one data row coming from the Table B on the master Page C
