Add-in: Smart Courses for Confluence

Hi, I'm trying to add course content, linked to a Confluence page and then anchored to a heading within the course content.
The anchor info says it doesn't support: Anchor names are limited to 255 characters, please note that % ' * # cannot be used.

But Confluence gives us the link which contains some of these characters, hence I'm unable to add an anchor: 
https://...../Learning#Programming

Anyway around this?

Links to anchors or headings can be pasted in the Confluence page capsule so that course attendees can start navigating the page from that specific anchor.
