Automation of the entire Jira ticket content in Confluence when ticket is set to Done.

Florian Eberle March 10, 2025

Hi togehter,

I would like to archive all tickets in Confluence that are set to the status Done in Jira with the entire content, i.e. creator, assigned person, attachments, summary, description, comments, etc.. Currently I could only create one automation in the automations or with the AI, where e.g. the issue number is transferred to Confluence but the content is missing. Can you help me with what such a rule should look like?

Thank you!

Best Wishes

Flo

@Florian Eberle ,

Could you please share some screenshots of what is the requirement? Are you looking to populate all the Jira ticket information on a confluence page based on a filter or one issue per page?

Hi Bibek,

Sure, the first screenshot shows the automation as it is now (just documenting the issue key), in the second screenshot you can see how it looks in Confluence (SSATR-55 is the is the issue key) but there is no content within the newly created confluence page.

My wish would be to document an entire epic in Confluence once it has been completed, i.e. the epic together with all stories/tasks and subtasks. Either to document this on a Confluence page with other epics (so to speak a list of all epics that have ever been completed and their content and tasks/stories and subtasks) or to create a new page for each epic with its content.

Thank you.
