Confluence Cloud Premium API

Hi, I watched the video on Confluence Premium here https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence/premium and was particularly interested about the admin key feature.

Are there any API endpoints on Confluence Cloud to allow admins to view pages that they are restricted from viewing, or is this strictly a UI feature only?

From what we know so far, the API only works on valid exposed permissions.  The Admin Key allows temporary access.  It is not related to the API or any of the set in credentials and access.
