Dear all,

We have a trial version of confluence cloud but would like to start host it by ourselfs on a VPS. Now did I follow all the steps for installing it with PostgreSQL and it starts filling it up but eventually i get this weird error and can't find out how to resolve it.

This is the error: OutOfMemoryError: unable to create new native thread

and on the left side it tells me to check if my DB supports underscores (lower cases). But i've checked and this shouldn't be a problem.

Please help us.

Kind regards,
Matthijs

Assuming you are getting error in Confluence log for OutOfMemoryError.

Increase the allocated RAM in your server.xml file that Confluence can use to something more than 1GB (it is the default value).

Depending on if you are installing confluence on windows or Linux, steps might be different, have a look at this page -> https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-fix-out-of-memory-errors-by-increasing-available-memory-154071.html
