Hello! I created a document in Confluence. I wanted to export to PDF with all sections and subsections. But it didn't work out. Can you please tell me how to export a whole document to PDF?

Hi @laura_tlepina

Had you considered using an app to generate the PDF export from Confluence? We, K15t, develop Scroll PDF Exporter and using this app you can control how your content is formatted and styled from Confluence to PDF. This includes being able to preserve the multi-column page layout formatting if you are using these elements on your page. You can learn more about getting started with the app here. Should you wish you can also evaluate the app for free from the Atlassian Marketplace listing. Thanks, Thomas (K15t)

We've found that using a chrome plugin like GoFullPage will let you print the screen to PDF, including everything that is scroll down page.  There are a couple of other companies that provide the plugin, and some work better than others due to the code that makes the card popup.

If your stillhaving trouble and need to do it quick, just highlight all the text on the webpage, click CTRL + C ... then drop it into a word file, with CTRL + V and save as PDF.

OK, not as automatic, but does give you a bit of control if you want to highlight stuff in yellow or reduce font size of irrelevent bits etc to concentrate focus.

Hello Laura,

As far as I know, the only way to export a Confluence page in PDF is to click on the page menu using the ... icon, and then to select export to PDF.

If this doesn't work it means something is wrong, and you can raise a ticket to Atlassian using the following link and going to the "Suggestion and bug reports" :

https://support.atlassian.com/

Let me know if it helped or not ,

Guilhem
