Hi, I have seen this question being raised and I find no recent status - we have an internal branding of our Confluence Cloud and and really want to be able to set the sender name for emails from Confluence to reflect our branding. Why is this seemingly not available?
Thanks in advance!

Hi @Johannes Melkeraaen ,
And welcome to the community. Unfortunately it is currently not possible to set a custom email address for Confluence notifications.
There has been a suggestion on the Atlassian backlog for some years. But last month its status has changed from 'Gathering interest' to 'In progress'.
So maybe this feature will be rolled out somewhere this year. Who knows?
See https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-68551.
Have a nice day!

Thanks for the prompt reply! I have now added my vote to https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-68551 and will be watching the case. I pray to the Wiki Gods that it will happen soon!
:-)
Have a nice day, Rik!

Hi @Johannes Melkeraaen and welcome to the Community,
there is a feature request that you can vote for and watch to get updates: [CONFCLOUD-68551] Allow custom email address for Confluence notifications - Create and track feature requests for Atlassian products.
As of "why" only the Atlassian product managers may give you an answer. However it's probably just lack of priority.
