×There is no obvious way to embed the Jira service desk widget in a confluence page with the given code snippet (script).
Any thoughts?
That doesn't answer the question of specifically the service desk widget. If you to the JIRA Service Desk project you can copy a widget script for embedding the form. That script looks like this:
<script data-jsd-embedded data-key="1243-abcd-5678-efgh" data-base-url="https://jsd-widget.atlassian.com" src="https://jsd-widget.atlassian.com/assets/embed.js"></script>
We want to embed that specific script into Confluence. Seems like this should be possible from a security perspective as there are already other JIRA embeds in Confluence.
Which macro can be used to embed that script?
@Jay Rosenthal This is exactly what I am looking for but still not able to perform.
It would be great to include the widget to a Support Page or on the Overview Page.
With the basic widget addon, this is not possible.
Have you already found a solution?
Thanks and kind regards
Mike

I've tried with 2 html/javascript macro plugins available and can't get this to work. Any suggestions?

Has any answer ever been provided for this? Even with the HTML include add-on all that shows up is a blank space when using the Embed Widget code provided by jira service desk. If we can embed a request form into Confluence that would simplify so much.

Hello there!
Brian, you should be able to type / in your editor and search for the desired macro. The interaction looks like this:
We also have the option to insert via the toolbar at the top:
Further, could you clarify the part about "...with the given code snippet (script). ". Are you trying to manually insert a macro with an API to an specific Confluence page? Could you give us an example of the snippet you are using?

Looking forward to your reply Brian!
