I've added the Microsoft OneDrive for Business app to Confluence and when I proceed to add a one drive macro to a page, nothing comes up in the Search. I've tried a variety of search terms including onedrive, microsoft, excel, visio, etc. and nothing comes up.
I've also tried to "add the link to the editor page" but Confluence does not recognise the URL as anything other than a normal link.
Can someone please advise if I'm doing something incorrectly?

Additionally to what @Pramodh M said:
You cannot just copy the (sharepoint-) address from your browser, but you have to generate an official sharing link.
That way it worked for me, asked for credentials and everything.
Yes, that was the point. And when generating the link, choose the option "Anyone in your coorp. with the link can view-edit" other way it will not work (for me at least).
Thanks!! :)

Welcome to the community 🙂
The macro is deprecated going forward.
Follow the below steps to include onedrive content
Uninstall the app and use the embed feature
Let me know if you have any queries

Hi Pramodh,
I followed the instructions but unfortunately I don't receive the same experience as outined in the knowledge article. As you can see from my screenshot below, I don't receive the "Embed" button to the left of the Edit Link button. My link was a Sharepoint link.
Regards,
Mark

Yes! same problem here. Same as you, when I paste a link from sharepoint i can't see the "edit link" buton, so it's shown as a normal link, with no embed view... Any suggestion?

Thanks @korbamm, using the "official" Sharepoint link, the button is now displaying, however the Embed option is not available. See screenshot below.
Within the editor it asks me to "Connect to Preview" as highlighted above. When I click the link it then displays this message - i think it attempted to redirect me to my organisation's single sign on page.
Looks like we need to provide access to atlassian for access to our resources.

@Pramodh M Are you able to review my most recent comment above on Feb 14, 2022 and let me know how I should proceed, as you can see, the link is being recognised but the Embed option isn't available.

Yes go ahead @Mark.Dibella
Once you are able to approve the request, you will be able to preview the files
Thanks

I have to say, also when connected, I do not get the option to preview sharepoint files, just the three before mentioned options (URL, Inline, Card).
Not sure what is causing this, but something is amiss.
