OKTA Licensing

Kevin Lau October 22, 2018

Hi,

We have just integrated with Atlassian Access and see the new OKTA product.  If we were to use it is there a cost involved?

Thanks.

Hey Kevin,

Yes, there is a cost involved, and let me provide you with more insights, OKTA is one of our supported identity providers for enabling SAML single sign-on and by enabling this feature you will subscribe to Atlassian Access , this will grant your users secure access to an unlimited number of Atlassian Cloud products, therefore if you enable this it will be enabled for the full domain, and the users will have SSO enabled for all the products where the login with that email address, as Atlassian Access, cannot be enabled per product and you'll be charged once per employee as per the following table:

User count / Progressive price*

10-250

$3

251-1000

$2

1001+

$1

*Access pricing is progressive. That means, you'll pay a total of $750 (250 x $3) for 250 users, a total of $752 for 251 users (250 x $3 + 1 x $2), and a total of $2251 for 1001 users (250 x $3 + 750 x $2 + 1 x $1).

Thanks,

Ramona
