Previous versions of images visible to viewers in confluence pages

As an example: in a confluence page we have one image inline with other content. There are no child pages. When you open the image you are given the option to see other images with left and right chevrons. 

But there aren't - or shouldn't be, other images.

The other images shown are images no longer included in the content yet visible to people. We don't seem to have the ability to hide potentially sensitive information we have changed.

How can we have only current content shown?

Hi Brendan,

Whenever you upload an image to the page, it is stored as an attachment to the page. Even if you remove it from the editor, it will still persist. There is a link at the top of the page (image2014-9-9 11:13:46.png) that will let you navigate to all the attachments - from there you can remove ones that are no longer valid.

We are working on making these curation features more accessible and powerful, but for the meantime this should help you clean up your extra images.
