Our department has team pages set up in our space, and team leaders have access to change the restrictions on their team pages to include specific subordinates of theirs to be able to edit the page.
One team leader, Corina, has changed the restriction on her pages to include her team member, Jessica, as someone who can edit the page. However, when Jessica goes in to try and edit the page, she does not have that ability.
What is keeping this user from being able to edit? What can we do to fix this?
Below are a couple of screenshots with pertinent information.
Hi Katherine,
did you make sure that the person has at least read permissions on the parent pages? If the parent pages are hidden from them, they cannot edit a child page even if they have the permission to do so.

Hi Jens, sorry for the late response. I was at Summit last week and was busy taking it all in :)
I believe this issue has been resolved for now, but thanks for your reply. I will double check that and reach out again if I have more questions about that. Thank you so much!

You're welcome. I just noticed that your question was not very recent. I didn't realize that last week. Funnily, one of my users just had the same question the other day. ;-)

Hi,
from your screenshots, this seems perfectly valid to me.
You can try one thing for testing: Add Jessica as a user to the space permissions (Licensed User screenshot) & check if she's able to edit the page then.
Just a guess...

Hey JP, thanks for your reply. I did as you said, then double checked with Corina and Jessica, and it appears that she was still unable to edit a page, at least until I went in and added her as a user that can edit on the specific page via the Restrictions. So when Corina does that, it doesn't work but when I do (I am the space admin) it works correctly. Any idea why?

No, could be a bug! Did you contact the Atlassian support?

I have not yet, I was thinking it was probably just me not being 100% sure how to setup Confluence, but now I think I might reach out to support. Thanks again JP! :)
