We would like to track when certain files are downloaded from our Confluence knowledge base and by which customer (not only Confluence user, but also Service desk customer who has access to our knowledge base). Is there an option for such logs within Confluence Cloud or does it require an add-on? Thanks!!!
Judit,
It's not possible in Cloud, because it would require you to have access to the server itself. There's a conversation below explaining what would be required.
There may be a 3rd-party add-on that provides this information, but I am not aware of a particular one that would do that. I'm including your question in the Marketplace collection, in the event that another community member has any ideas for you.

Shannon
thanks Shannon for answering. I have found that article, but it is not relevant for us because we are on the Cloud (honestly I start to think it has more disadvantages than advantages)...one of your support guys answered me also earlier, and created this suggestion: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-65387

Judit,
Indeed, it is not relevant for Cloud, but as I mentioned I wanted you to see what kind of access you would need to have in Cloud for that to happen.
Happy that Giuliano was able to assist you by creating a feature request for that. Should you ever need to suggest a feature request in the future, you can do so via jira.atlassian.com.
Take care!
Shannon
