I'm not able to create Jira issue from confluence , prompted error message "epic link is required" , but there is no field for me to input the epic link. Kindly advise.

Check the validator of the task issue type, because it seems that the Epic link is marked as a required field.
yes. epic link is mandatory for task creation. if that case , we can only create issue from Jira and can't create issue from confluence instead with using /Jira macro?

we subscribed for premium plan . confluence cloud suppose always under "latest " version? if not please advise where can check the confluence version? TQ

Yes you are right! I got confused from the image you pasted, and thought you were on-premise (server/DC). Apologies! Unfortunately you can't make Epic Link to be a required field form the field configuration, and thus appeared in the jira macro.
