Can't sort by date in a table

Deleted user November 4, 2018

I have a table with a date column I have filled in using the "//" date picker.

It does not sort properly by date it sorts in a seemingly random order.

Issue here seems to say it was resolved years ago!?

Fixed it myself:

I had a cell further down with some plain text in it, this must have confused it, after removing the text Confluence now sees it as a date column as it sorts correctly

Issue closed.

Thanks for this answer, it helps me to find the problem.

Sadly is it the case, that empty row's at the end of the table occuring that, I can't sort my date column. And so the editor no empty row's at the end of the table may have.
