Hello, I would like to create in a page on my confluence space a place where people can insert text without go in edit mood.
Example:
Hello I m Stefano
"Write a bio"
In "write a bio" view user could fill the field without go in edit
Exist a macro to do this?
I agree with Nic about changing content to a certain extent. This will not be possible by default. When apps from the Marketplace come into play, this can be possible.
So can you describe your use case in more detail? What's your plan with the information added? Do you want to gather the data in one place? You might want to check out our app Orderly Databases for Confluence. I think it could be a good fit for your use case.
You can edit the data inline when you add Orderly macros to any page without opening the editor. I made a quick gif for you:
And why I am asking about your use case because we use Orderly internally to organize information about our colleagues within it in a database that's more like a smart table (there's also other visualization).
So if you take a look at the database Erika's data is stored in, it looks like this in our example. The inline editing applies here as well:
So I'm curious to hear what you have in mind, and I'm sure we can suggest solutions. :)
Best, Max
Hello, thank you for your answer. I was thinking a project for hr/internal employee it seems like your second gif, where HR or Employee can edit the page or single profile, but it was just an idea. I have 2 question seeing your answer:
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
You're welcome!
To answer your questions:
Let me know if you have any other questions. I will be happy to answer them.

No, there's nothing that can do this.
To change the content in Confluence, you need to edit the page. But content does not include attachments, metadata, labels, etc, and an important part of that is that you could write a user-macro that could add content if people used it (although it won't be easy, and you will need one of the scripting apps to do it)
