Email notificiaton from only one site of a space does not work anymore

Hi guys,

I am using Confluence 9.2.7 (LTS, on-premise) and I realised, that if I watch only a single site of an entire space, I do not get email notifications anymore?!

Email notifications work, if I watch/subsribe to the entire space though but then I get notification mails from all sub-sites, which is what I do not want.

I checked my profile settings and they were set to defaults, which were working before.
Also, all the confluence notficiation native modules are activated.

So, I can't see any obvious reason, why this function does not work anymore, since upgrading from 8.5.18 to 9.2.7?!

Any other experiences here around?

I don't think this is expected behavior @Andreas Brandts 👀

I couldn't find anything relevant regarding this (nor did I hear anyone else experiencing the same thing). 

Have you maybe tried reaching Atlassian Support to see if they can help out here?

Hi Tomislav,

Yes, that behaviour is not expected. I was also unable to find relevant information regarding this issue.

I will open a ticket with Atlassian soon.

Wanted to thear other users opinion.
