How can I get rid of obsolete/unusable entries in the top menu bar?

In the top menu bar, I have two entries that I want to get rid of; one leads to the overview page of one of my spaces (the default space, but without the navigation bar at the side, it doesn't make sense ...), and the other is labeled "Templates" but issues an error when I use it, saying I (the admin with full access to everything) probably don't have the rights to access that space, or that the space was deleted. But as far as I know, there never was a space of that name.

Hi Verena,

Both of these menu options are core features, they cannot be disabled or hidden.

The error about being unable to load templates is probably happening because your account does not have permission to see any of the spaces it needs to.  Admin rights means the right to administrate the system, they do not mean "can do everything"

Well, I created the whole damn thing, so I suppose I should have all the rights there are ^^ Also, as Laura pointed out, that was my personal template space that should have been shown in the screen shot.

Do you have an explanation why of all the spaces I have in that instance, only that specific one has appeared in the top row, and only the overview page shows when I click it, without the left navigation bar? What is the intended use behind that?

Not necessarily.  As the space creator, makes you the administrator, but not necessarily any other rights.  When you create a space, you are asked if you want it to be a space visible only to you, copy permissions from another space, or use the default global permissions (which are set by your administrators, who may have set them to "no access other than admin" - a lot of regulated places can't have people creating whatever space they feel like with open access, and some require admin access to be separate from the user access)

The error you are seeing in the screenshot is what it says it is - the space you are currently looking at has been deleted, archived, or you do not have the permission to see it.

As a global admin, you should be able to get into any space to administrate it, archived or un-permissioned (obviously, deleted spaces are gone), so click on "Spaces -> view all spaces" and find the one you are trying to work with - check if it has been archived and what your permissions are for it.

I am not a creator of a single space, I am the creator and owner of the whole instance. And no, I didn't delete my own personal space, which is what should be accessed in the screenshot and checked for related templates. Check the thread below with Lauras answer - when I switch to other spaces in this template page view and then return to my personal space, the correct error message appears, that there are no templates. For me, it is a bug that this doesn't also appear the first time I open that.

It does not matter that you are a global administrator, that has nothing to do with the permissions to use a space.

I can't replicate what you're seeing here in any way, personal space or not.  I think we need to see an exact step-by-step "how to replicate" list.
