How to Stop Email notification to watchers using REST API?

I have been using confluence API to update page contents and attachments. But with each activity, there are email notifications to the watchers.

For e.g:- If I execute my script 10 times, there will be 10 different email to the watchers.

So is there any way to stop these Notifications in the API call itself?

Thanks for your reply. I have used minorEdit:true in the (1) create page API (2) Page content update API. But still receiving mail/notifications
