Hello,
I'm trying to figure out how can I automate the data entry for a field when another field is set to a specific value via inline editing in the TableView macro.
Use case -
I have a form that has a "Date Added" and a "Date Resolved". Now the "Date Added" field is auto-populated at the time of record creation using "DateAdded=[now]". After a few days, once this record is resolved, we would go and update the status dropdown field from "Open" to "Close" via inline editing on a TableView macro.
Is it possible that once I change the status field from "Open" to "Close" via inline editing on the TableView macro, the record auto-populates the "Date Resolved" field to the date when the status was changed to "Closed"?
Thanks in Advance for the support.
Hi
Consider adding IFTTT rules to update your records as required based on the changes you make (setting condition)

Hey Alex,
I did try IFTTT rules but that only works if you are editing a record through the Admin Console and clicking Edit beside a record which opens up the form view.
My focus is the achieve it while using Inline Editing on a TableView macro. Doesn't seem to work there.

Sorry, but this is a mistake - IFTTTs are executed no matter how you edit your record
Inline, inline individually or via the dialog
