How to generate API token in JIRA Server ?

Hi Team,

I want to generate API token for Jira Server. I dont find any proper documentation in Atlassian Channel. Please help me on this. 

I am trying to integrate SAAS tool to my jira. 

I generated api key from https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/security/api-tokens. But it is not working well. Somebody saying that the above link will work only for Jira Cloud but not Jira server.  I want some clarifications and the process of generating Token.

Hi,

Yes, that tokens works only for Cloud based products,

Unfortunately, such functionality still not implemented in Server/Data Center Jira and available only via 3rd party plugins.

However, you can use the plugin I have developed: API Tokens for Jira
