Include HTML file in a Confluence page Unexpected Error happened

Mike February 6, 2019

I've tried displaying a page from an Atlassian cloud page to an On Premise cloud using the html include macro but I get the following:

Does anyone know how to get around the Unexpected error happened error?

Is this some sort of whitelisting error or?  Thanks

Michael,

As I let you know in your other thread, it's not possible to access Cloud accounts using the HTML include macro. You need to browse directly to the instance.

Let us know if you have any questions about this.

Like you said on the other thread, html include only exists on server.  Our on premise is server hosted on cloud...but still server.  Regardless, if I can't reference cloud accounts I'll look to other options.

Unfortunate as I've found you can access images bi-directional, even a gliffy can be viewed on confluence cloud version without gliffy.  It is a copy of the existing gliffy converted to png which is what's displayed but it is updated real time which is great. It's a shame the next step hasn't been taken to do a display of text within a text box or something.

We're in an awkward state where a portion of our org has migrated to atlassian while the rest remains on server.  This transition period makes it difficult to collaborate.
