Integrate Confluence notifications into Slack

We have been using JIRA with webhooks to integrate notifications into Slack. Is there any way to do the same for Confluence?

There isn't a specific Slack app as there is with JIRA.

However, Confluence notifications are just emails, and you can use a Slack app like Email to push notification emails directly to a Slack channel.There are various other email apps for this purpose as well.

I see how to configure an email address for posting to a Slack channel, but how do I configure Confluence to send notifications to that address?

Hi Ken,

if you are talking about Confluence Server, there is an Atlassian Plugin available now:

You need to also install the Confluence Server bot in your Slack workspace and then configure them.

Note: The notifications are only sent for non-restricted pages/page trees.

Hi Jan - that's not on the roadmap at this stage.

It is, however, something that has been discussed, so it's helpful to hear that this is an integration you'd like to see developed.

Another vote here for Server Slack integration. Atlassian needs to stop punishing its Server customers, who pay the same or MORE than cloud customers for your software. It's a two class system and getting tiresome. Either do away with server or support it fully, as you do cloud. Same goes for JIRA. Unless your install base is shrinking? Doubt it.

@Frank Troglauer . You may check Slack connector for Confluence here  which can configure for global or specific Space . And also easily to custom notification message when displaying in Slack channel.
