I'm seeing more and more prompts to enable Atlassian Intelligence. The option is available to our products.
However what I am not clear on is whether there is a costs to using Atlassian Intelligence. We are currently on a Standard Plan (for all products).
Does anyone know for sure?
Thanks, Michael.
Hi @Michael,
according to Atlassian, there will be a mix of free and paid capabilities. All capabilities will be free for early access customers who are granted access from the waitlist until the product general availability is announced.
The virtual agent for Jira Service Management will be included for no extra cost in Premium and Enterprise plans (subject to usage limits).
I found this information here: https://www.atlassian.com/software/artificial-intelligence
Best,
Svenja
The link about does not say what service plan is required.
I "activated" AI on my standard plan based on a link sent me on a email by Atlassian. Nothing I saw told me that a Premium plan was required. All I got on my standard plan pages were new links that did nothing but tell me I needed Premium plan to use them.
Very misleading.

Indeed. This is the only official confirmation I could find: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/pricing

Very misleading indeed. Until there's a CLEAR cost statement, it's hard for serious companies to take this as more than an MVP.

The answer marked "Answer Accepted" sends us to another page.
Way at the bottom of this long page you find:
"Intelligence is available to Premium and Enterprise customers."
You can "activate" AI on standard plans but all you get are new buttons that lead you to prompts to buy the premium plan.

Hi Michael, I now have the same question as you had and I still don't understand if there is a cost involved (now when it is generally available). Have you been able to find out?
We have premium account on Jira Software and Standard account on Service desk and Confluence.
And if there is a cost attached, do you know where the exact cost can be found? Can this be seen after I have activated it maybe?
