No Top Navigation Bar

I just started with Confluence and unfortunately I don´t have a top navigation bar. The whole navigation takes place in the sidebar. Is this adjustable somhow in the settings?

In Confluence Cloud that's the way it's meant to be.

However there is a browser extension with which you can make it look like more like the horizontal navigation from Confluence Server.
