Hi,

we are in the migration process from Server to Cloud.

If we migrate pages with PDF files, these files will show a "We couldn't load the file." error in Confluence Cloud.

If we go in the editor, and change the "Change View" to "Display thumbnail" it works again.

This workaround can't be done manually for every pdf. Is there a solution to this problem?

Is this a sideeffect of the "new editor" in confluence cloud?

Hi Lars, I found a few similar issues on Atlassian's Jira site (jira.atlassian.com).  Could these be related to your issue: CONFCLOUD-72966 CONFCLOUD-74660 CONFCLOUD-76125

I may have missed something.  You could also create a support ticket with Atlassian (support.atlassian.com/contact) to see if they have any other options that I may have missed.

Hope that helps.

The issues you mentioned are not exactly the same. In my case it happens to all .pdf files. Also simple ones. And it happens during the process of migrating from server to cloud. If I attach a pdf manually to a site, it works fine.

Today I have a call with atlassian. We will see what happens.
