Pervious published versions have disappeared.. Draft history is visible but the published is gone!

We have a Page which was Originally created and first published more than 2 years ago.

The record in the draft version of the document activity is visible, however all history from the published version has disappeared. The version number is 1, and it should be 5. The Version 1 which I can see in the Published, is the same as our Draft Version 67 which means it is the result of the same draft, or produced from the same draft, and yet the history is just gone. Also Document activity in the published is gone. Any Idea what has happened and if there is a way to fix it?

They are able to check you instance and see logging.
