We are working with a digital agency which is a licensee of the Atlasssian Cloud--Confluence and Jira. Our organization, would also like to license Confluence and possibly also JIRA. If we have Confluence or Atlasssian Cloud, is there a way to sync data between the instances?
For privacy reasons, they would prefer us not to have direct access to their instance. And for ease of exchange of data, we would eventually like to sync the documentation, requirements and test cases that we would develop with in Confluence with their JIRA once we are in the maintenance phase. But it would also be convenient to sync between the two Confluence instances as well.
I appreciate any insight you all might have.
Publishing to another site is easier than synchronizing. Confluence Command Line Interface (CLI) could help with that. Specifically, copyPage and similar actions that copy to a target server.
Hi Bob, this sounds interesting does the CLI interface allow, to be done daily ? or on a schedule. We use the cloud version.

They are just commands, so you can put them in your favorite job scheduler. Or better yet, Bamboo is a great way to schedule automation.

A little late to the party. But do we need to install the CLi tool in both Source and Destination? or only in the source location?

(Please note that I'm one of the folks behind Ricksoft that is the vendor of Space Sync for Confluence, there may be other solutions out there.)
Hi,
There are other apps to resolve your problem currently.
Space Sync for Confluence is one of them.
You can have the same data in multiple Confluence Cloud instances.
It doesn't need user accounts in another instance.
If you don't want to use apps, sending exported pages or spaces might be a solution to share data with partners.
