×Please help!!
I'm totally new in Confluance, level very very beginer :)
I have to cerate table that will have filters and drop down list - like in excel. Very simple.
I used two plug-ins"
- Excel-like tables (works great but only one person can edit file at the time, multi-use is my must have)
- Handy macros great but why statuses are not going to the chart, they are like empty values :(
Is there something else that can fit?
Hello @Anna Arczynska ,
One of options can be use of https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/27447/table-filter-and-charts-for-confluence?hosting=cloud&tab=overview (PAID)
This gives the ability to apply various filters as in Excel. It is also possible to auto generate pivot tables and charts :)
Looks promising, I will try and let you know :) Thanks!

Unfortunately only one user can edit the spreadsheet.

Hi @Anna Arczynska ,
And how did you test the Table Spreadsheet macro to make such conclusion? I assume we are talking about the Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app, right?
The macro fully supports collaborative editing, and all the updates made by different users will be merged together into one file.

Scenario like this:
1. Add Element Spreadsheet
2. Create new table with drop down list
3. Save table
4. Publish page in Confluance
5. Press Edit on top of the table
Now I can edit table but other user get:
Can I do this in some other way?

It looks like you're using our app Elements Spreadsheet :)
The app does not support concurrent collaborative editing yet, which means only one user can make edits to the current spreadsheet. Any other users will have read-only access.
I am sorry about that. Is collaborative editing a strong requirement in your company? How many users typically concurrently work on a same document?
Happy to help you with your use case or discuss your needs and requirements, you can simply book a 30-min call in my calendar here.

If you use our Table Spreadsheet macro (comes with the Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app), then you'll be able to use all the basic Excel features and create dropdowns as you create them in Excel.
You may also book a live demo session - we'll be happy to introduce the app to you and your colleagues.
