When clicking headings within the Table of Contents I am pointed back to the top of the page, not the location of the heading text. This page was duplicated from a template, could that be why? I went in and rewrote each header and republished the page but the links still aren't working correctly.
Hi Maureen and welcome,
Have you tried to edit the ToC (table of content) macro settings? Try to change the 'Absolute URL' option to see if something different happens when select the other way around. That is... if checked, then uncheck the option and if unchecked try to check the option. Then re-publish the page to see if something changes.
Regards
Hi Jack - thanks for the quick response. Truthfully, I may have put the cart before the horse because my table of contents started working almost immediately after posting this question. Not sure what the fix was and/or if my browser just needed some time to thing but we're up and running!

Hi all, there is a Confluence bug where the TOC links don't work (i.e don't take the user to the location of the heading text). This issue happens when the heading text is located in a table.

I also realized that when you put content in a tab/cloak or table with appropriate Heading for Toc, it doesn't navigate to the desired content.

I am having the same problem. When do you fix it?
