In Confluence I am using the User Profile macro and in Preview mode I am seeing the avatar but when I publish the avatar does not show. What am I doing wrong?
Same. I see a bug has been logged (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-65902). I upvoted it.
And apparently (per the comments), adding an empty Style macro to the page fixes the issue. I tried it, and it does indeed work. So...workaround!
This workaround works for me too! Thanks!

I am having the same problem on Confluence Cloud. User avatar is displayed in preview but not after being published. Is it a bug or Do I need to enable any system setting?

I am having this same issue. The user's avatar use to show up in the User Profile macro but as of about a week ago went missing. Like Donna, I too see the avatar in Preview mode but not when the page is published.
