Would like to attach a word document in confluence , that will be frequently modified and reuploaded.
Will I be able to get the previous versions of the word document attached, if it is modified and reuploaded?

If you're using the Attachments Macro, there's an option you can tick for "Include old attachment versions"
If you download, edit and re-upload (attaching it to the same page without changing the filename), Confluence can maintain version history for your document.

Do you still need the Word file, or would it also be an option to move the content that you're currently managing in Word to a Confluence page, and then track the changes using the page revision functionality in Confluence?
