Are there any ways to do a ScriptRunner Enhanced search in a Confluence macro? Im aware that you can save the enhanced search as a filter and then use a JIRA macro to reference the filter. I just want to know if there are any other ways to use the enhanced search directly in confluence marcos without the need to save the search as a filter?
Hi Jason,
The only way to use the enhanced search functions in other features, such as Jira features like boards or confluence macros, is to save the enhanced search filter and then reference the filter using the syntax of filter="<FilterNameHere>".
Unfortunately, there is no way to write the enhanced search functions directly in Confluence Macros.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Kristian
Thanks Kristain. Thats what I was afraid of. Very disappointing of how much functionality is lost going to the Cloud.
