I am trying to create a document in confluence with multiple different images. However, when I insert more than one image into a page, all the images in that page display as the most recently added file.
Is there a reason for this and a way to avoid it?
I have tried adding images by all the available methods, adding them in bulk and one at a time, and have had no success.
Any advice appreciated!
Hi Eve,
Confluence has a built in file versioning system. So I think what is happening here is that you are possibly adding files with the same name?
In this case Confluence will be showing the first image all the time.
The workaround for now is to use different file names (sorry). I'm the PM on the Media team so we're talking with Confluence on how we might fix this. But it likely won't be done for a while.
Any other questions feel free to reach out to me here: https://calendly.com/owallis
Thanks
Owen
Hi Owen,
This turned out to be exactly the issue - using different file names has worked. Thanks very much for the advice!

Great! Glad it worked. Sorry you're having to use this workaround for now.

@Owen Wallis
Is it planned to change the behaviour, so this workaround is not needed? I am just asking as the "for now" suggests this...

Sorry for the delay. My understanding is the Confluence team are looking to change this. Not sure on timings
