we are installed brand new version of confluence in the cloud. so I was just wondering whether there is best practice document that I can pass to all users.
With the launch of the new integrated profiles, the UX of managing Confluence product settings is a little sub-optimal right now.
Click on your avatar in the left-hand navigation - There are two possible paths:
The first is to access it via your Profile. You need to click on "Manage your account". You will see some tabs, but ignore the one labelled "Email" - instead click on "Products". From there pick the Confluence instance you are using - this will take the user to their Confluence product settings page.
However, the more direct route to this page is use the "Settings" link, which is below the Profile link.
The URL for email settings is https://YOURSUBDOMAIN.atlassian.net/wiki/users/viewmyemailsettings.action
oh sorry. I meant the best practise to setup the confluence for the company. Chang
