I'd like to enable the public link capability, so that our users can use public links for selected pages, sets of pages or Spaces. But I want to make sure, that for the major part of our content, it stays inside our company and is not shared outside unintentionally.
How can we exclude or configure Spaces so that public links is not available in them ?
How can we ensure no external sharing happens unintentionaly ?
As admin, can we review external links and revoke them somewhere during a periodic review for example ?
@frederic_vu Welcome to the Atlassian Community.
The only way to prevent public links is to put on page restrictions. You can learn more here under who can enable public links. https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/public-links-979425312.html
There is no way to audit public links other than reviewing each page. There is a feature request that you can vote for here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-72297

Thank you very much @Brant Schroeder for your help and reactivity
I looked at the page restrictions, but this means that anyone creating a new page from root location in a space could possibly share externaly by mistake ?
When public links are enabled, the "anyone can view" applies also for external users, meaning that we have to review all our "internal only" pages and need to replace the "anyone can view" by a view access right applied to the groups of users including all the user of our company ?

@frederic_vu Yes on pages that you would like to ensure that public links are not available you would have to put page restrictions on.

ok, thank you @Brant Schroeder and no means to handle this for a set of pages at once, or disable public links for certain spaces ? I haven't found how to do that in the help

@frederic_vu I believe public links are all or nothing. You can submit a feature request for this functionality here: https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa
