Hi,
Just looking for some simple clarification.
Understand that i need to have a base URL for the cloud version of something.atlassian.net.
We have both jira and confluence on-prem, looking to migrate to the cloud but cant find if i need to have one URL for both services or if i need to have a url for both jira and confluence
Many thanks in advance
Cloud throws up a site that is broken up by application within it.
When I visit https://aclsandbox.atlassian.net I get redirected to the conflluence behind it, which is on https://aclsandbox.atlassian.net/wiki and if I click through to its Jira, https://aclsandbox.atlassian.net/jira (and so-on for other apps)
You do not need to think about the url for cloud beyond choosing a good "something"
Hi @Will Lear
Please create a Trial instance here
https://www.atlassian.com/try/cloud/signup?bundle=jira-software-confluence&edition=free
(Please login into Atlassian account first and then create Trial)
Once you start the trial instance you will have something.atlassian.net
Jira can be accessed through https://something.atlassian.net/secure/BrowseProjects.jspa
Confluence through https://something.atlassian.net/wiki/home
To import into Jira please navigate to
https://octowinner.atlassian.net/secure/admin/CloudImport!start.jspa
For confluence please use the plugin below
Thanks,
Pramodh
