You still can implement the same case using the Page Properties Report and Status macros.
If you need to filter you final Page Properties Report by statuses, then you'll need additional apps such as Table Filter and Charts for Confluence.
Here is a short 2 minute video tutorial how to use the standard Page Properties Report and how to amplify it.

You can use Handy Status from the Handy Macros for Confluence app. It allows adding the page label once you add the status. Later on, you can sort the pages by label to find all the pages in the required status.

If you are using workflows for those pages normally you have available a report macro that you can then use.
If you are using the status macro from Confluence you can possibly have this report by using:
