Hello @Shannon S,
I figured out a more efficient way to reach Advance Search:
1. Press 'g' then 'i' - You will reach the issue search page
2. Press 'f' - Cursor will reach the place where you can write your JQL
Please upvote if this makes sense.

Nikhil,
That's great, thank you for sharing! It might not be seen by our Jira users here in this Confluence collection, but it still might help someone in the future.

Hello Shannon,
Thanks for your quick response!
In place of 'gg', we can use the more convenient '.' but yes, it does not take to the advanced search, it just lets us search in the context of the current page. It is only much relevant in case of a single ticket.
I would also not delve much into Search Results macro as I can that this feature is doing to be shelved in some time.
I guess your reply is related to Confluence while my query was related to JIRA.
Could you please answer this in context of JIRA for me?

Nikhil

Nikhil,
Thank you for your follow-up. Yes, this question is related to Confluence, so the information here only pertains to that.
I am only as familiar with Confluence, so if you want to know about the search in Jira, I would recommend raising a question in the Jira collection if you're still having any issues. There, one of our Jira experts will be able to help you.
Let me know if you have any trouble!

Shannon

Hi Rita,
Unfortunately, this is not possible.
What were you looking to configure exactly in the Advanced Search? We have a feature request for being able to configure Quick Search:
If that's not what you're looking to do, please you describe what you need from Quick Search and I can see if we have a request for it.

Hi Shannon,
I guess Rita's requirement is similar to what I was looking for today. Here it is
What we need is a shortcut to get the what we get by clicking on "Advanced Search" at both these places.

Hello Nikhil,
The shortcut to search is 'gg' as @[deleted] mentioned, but it does not take you to the full/advanced search.
There was a feature request in the past to implement what you are asking. We had a request for it in the past, but it has been closed as we do not have plans to implement it in the near future:
If there's a specific search you want to save, I would recommend using the Search Results Macro on a page to display that information.
Let me know if you have any further questions about that.
Regards,
Shannon
