My organization finally got through all the red tape and we are now testing Confluence 7.7.3 and ConfiForms 2.14 so I finally get to try out the WYSIWYG and the .htmoToWiki Virtual function.
After I got the error in my Jira description "color: Color value is invalid" I realized that the WYSIWYG has 4x the color options that Jira has. I I know the VF is still experimental and has limitations, but it seems like it is functioning fine. I suspect I am getting the error because i have a 75% chance of choosing a color that Jira doesn't support. Is there a way to limit the color options in the WYSIWYG?
Hi
Sorry, there is no way you can limit the number of colors in the WYSIWYG field in ConfiForms at this moment
Alex
But if we could get from somewhere the list of "supported colors" then this might be something to improve. As anyway the main use case is to pass the contents to Jira.. and it could be beneficial for everybody that the contents is really acceptable by Jira. But I am afraid that there is no "such list"

Well here is what I pulled from the description field for Jira. I don't know if this is simply for my organizations Jira or software wide though. These are both the color name if mouse is hovered over option, and then the text/code view of the field.

Afraid I'm just using the "markdown" formatting which is pretty flexible. Bit like dos for typing.
